Linda’s Fibromyalgia Study is Published in New Reflexology Textbook

A new reflexology book has just released titled Therapeutic Reflexology: A Step-by-Step Guide for Professional Competence authored by Paula Stone of The Stone Institute.
I’m happy to announce that Chapter 17 features my fibromyalgia study from 2008. The section is titled “Clinical Perspective: Reflexology Reduces Pain, Improves Sleep in Fibromyalgia Patients”, and shows findings from a personal study with 16 fibromyalgia patients that supports the use of foot reflexology as a treatment for the bodywide pain associated with fibromyalgia.

The book is published by Pearson Education, one of the world’s largest publishers. It also features Dr. Jesus Manzanares‘ reflexology research on foot biopsys and nerve theory, as well as a DVD and free online resources.
Kudos to Paula for a comprehensive text that will surely become part of every reflexologist’s library.
